Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Have a meet and greet at your city hotel at 8:00 am and immediately drive to Wilson Airport to catch the 10:00 am flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will reach the airstrip at 11:00 am and meet your awaiting driver. You will then enjoy a rewarding mid-morning game drive en route to the camp, which offers fantastic game-viewing opportunities in the early morning.

Break for lunch at the camp, then have another afternoon game drive until sunset in the reserve. The reserve is famously known for the Big Five and the migration of wildebeest (seasonal between July and October). Animals that are easily spotted include elephant, buffalo, lion, bird species and plains game. Transfer back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Full-day game drive in Mara

Have an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive to visit the scenic hippo pool and the Mara River. The river's winding banks are the lifeline of the park, providing a regular water supply to the ecosystem. If lucky, witness the rare crossing of wildebeest at one of the popular crossing points (July to October). The river banks and the marsh regions are also the best areas to spot the cats. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive until the evening.

Optional activities include a cultural visit to a Maasai village ($30 per person) and a hot-air balloon ride above the spectacular Masai Mara ($450 per person).

As the sun sets, you are transferred back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Have an early breakfast at 6:00 am, then check out of the camp and proceed for a short morning game drive for the last chance to spot animals that you could have missed on the previous days. After the game drive, you are transferred to the airstrip to catch the 11:00 am flight back to the city.

You will arrive in Nairobi at 12:15 pm and be met by the driver for a transfer back to your preferred city hotel. Alternatively, we can arrange a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight.
