Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up at 08:30 am from your hotel in Arusha by your guide. After an approximately 2-hour drive, you will reach Tarangire National Park.

As you enter the park, your guide will open the roof for a better viewing experience. Tarangire is home to the largest elephant herds in the north of Tanzania. Giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests as well as various antelopes and gazelles, can also be spotted here.

The landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and a seemingly endless tree savannah with its mighty baobab trees. After extensive game drives in the park, you will stay overnight at your lodge on a full-board basis.

Day 2

We start early after breakfast, crossing the Great Rift Valley floor and ascending the escarpment as we journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning scenery and breathtaking views on the way to the Serengeti.

Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, with lunch at a picnic spot, likely Naabi Hill Gate, where you can stretch your legs.

Later, visit a Maasai boma to engage with the local Maasai community. Experience traditional Maasai dance, explore the village, and learn about their rich cultural heritage, once known for lion hunting and the ceremonial drinking of raw cow blood (though now largely in the past, except for the blood drinking). Don't forget to browse the local Maasai market for unique souvenirs, adding to the depth of your cultural immersion.

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey into an ancient volcano teeming with incredible wildlife, putting you right in the heart of the action. After an early breakfast, we'll set off for the highly anticipated trip to Ngorongoro Crater.

The earlier we descend to the crater floor, the better your chances of spotting rare species like black rhinos. Spend the morning exploring this natural wonder, with its 600 to 650-meter-high walls, resembling a vast natural zoo with the highest concentration of wildlife.

After a picnic lunch, likely at the designated spot by the hippo pool, we'll ascend the crater rim and exit the conservation area, marking the end of an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, you'll depart from your accommodation and head to Lake Manyara National Park. Following a brief visit to the local market, you’ll continue on to the park, where countless photo opportunities await.

Bird enthusiasts will be in awe of Lake Manyara’s diverse birdlife, including large flocks of flamingos and numerous other species. As a premier birding destination, it’s a paradise for photographers and offers some of the finest wildlife views in the world. After a memorable day, you'll be driven back to Arusha, where the tour concludes.
