Nairobi to Masai Mara Np

Depart from Nairobi as early as 6.30 A.M to make the most of your day. The drive takes around 5-6 hours depending on the road condition. Upon arrival at your chosen lodge or camp in the Masai Mara, check-in, freshen up, and relax for a bit then embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, which typically lasts until sunset. The park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Game drive at Masai Mara Np

Wake up before dawn for an early morning game drive. This is the best time to spot predators in action as they hunt for their morning meal. Later on return to your lodge or camp for breakfast. Spend the morning exploring different areas of the park, keeping an eye out for wildlife and the stunning landscapes. At noon enjoy a packed lunch in the bush, or return to your accommodation for a sit-down meal. Continue with your game drive, visiting other interesting spots and wildlife-rich areas of the Masai Mara. Return to your accommodation for dinner and another night's stay.

Morning game drive and return to Nairobi city

Begin your day with another early morning game drive to catch any wildlife sightings you might have missed. Return to your lodge or camp for breakfast and check-out.
Depart the Masai Mara in mid-morning and begin your journey back to Nairobi.
Stop for lunch at a restaurant on the way back to Nairobi. Arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic and road conditions.
