Tarangire National Park is best known for its large herds of elephants, lions, and leopards, wonderful for birdlife, and a great variety of landscapes and wildlife. The gorgeous Silale Swamp, towards the south of the park, is magnificent and almost always rich in wildlife taking advantage of this reliable water source. Tarangire to Ndutu Area
Today you will visit Ndutu. This stunning area lies south of the Serengeti and west of Ngorongoro but it sees very few of the
travelers who make their way between the two. It all makes for a quieter, more intimate experience, but it also offers the best of both worlds, because it's a terrific area for seeing big cats and other wildlife, especially when the great migration passes through. Expect horizons that seem to go on forever and an extraordinary spray of stars in the night sky.

Ndutu/ Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast today, your driver-guide will pick you up from your lodge. You will then have another full-day game drive in Ndutu.
When you explore Ndutu, you'll feel like you're getting all that the Serengeti has to offer, but there will be far fewer vehicles to block your view. This is one of northern Tanzania's best-kept secrets, easily accessible from both the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and yet nicely off the main road between these more popular destinations. Ndutu is particularly good for wildlife when the great migration passes through, but there are plenty of animals to see here, framed against the vast horizon, at any time of the year. It's perfect for big cats, including tree-climbing lions.
After a full day of adventure, you will be back at your camp in time for a relaxing dinner.

Experience the thrill of an early morning game drive, a unique opportunity to witness wildlife in their most active state. Departing the lodge before sunrise at 6 am, you'll have the best chance to spot the big cats returning from a night of hunting, as well as other fascinating creatures, in the cool morning temperature. After the exhilarating game drive, you will be chauffeured back to your camp for a leisurely breakfast, followed by a drive to Central Serengeti. The central Serengeti boasts those spectacular “endless plains,” dotted with acacia trees and the occasional rocky kopjes. What is special about Central Serengeti is the wide open spaces, driving through the miles and miles of animals as far as the eye can see, riverine forests, and leopards.

The crater boasts lots of lions, hyena, fantastic bird-life, serval, Cape buffalo, zebra and gorgeous landscapes – Also there is an added advantage of seeing Rhino’s, if you are lucky. The view from the veranda of the lodges are breath taking especially in the morning with the early morning mist, because of the high altitude (It can be visited at any time of the year)
