You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to our office to meet the group members and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will travel via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch and refueling. After lunch, you will leave Narok and drive to the reserve arriving at the camp. You will check-in and relax for a few minutes. You will proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve Game Drive

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. You will break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. You will continue with a game drive till 5:00 p.m. for a visit to the Maasai village which is optional. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you can visit the Masai village and learn about their culture. You will depart the Mara region for Lake Nakuru. You will have lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longmont, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in Nakuru town in the evening. Your dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.

Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha/Hellsgate National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. You will enjoy a hot lunch and drive to Naivasha. You have an option to take a boat ride in this freshwater lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at extra cost. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Hellsgate National Park/Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

After breakfast have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle in this only. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's eagles, Augur buzzards, and swifts. African buffalos, zebras, elands, hartebeests, Thomson's gazelles, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer antelopes and Chanler's mountain reedbuck. You will enjoy hot or picnic lunches. Later, you will drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at the Nairobi hotel or airport.
