Driving from Arusha to Lushoto takes 4 to 5 hours. This day you will rest. In the evening, you will have a little town visit. Lushoto town is an old town which has historical buildings and sites. You will have dinner in town while interacting with Indigenous people from the Samba community.

Trekking to Irente Viewpoint
In the morning, you will have a short trekking tour for almost an hr to Irente Viewpoint. Late noon, you will be driven to Magoroto forest where you will have a canoe in the evening before dinner. Magoroto forest is well known as the Bali of Africa because of its similarities.

Magoroto Forest
On this day, you will have to trek into Magoroto forest for a couple of hours to watch birds and other small animals found in the forest. At noon, you will have lunch. Afterward, you'll leave for Amani Nature Reserve where you will have dinner and enjoy night firewood with a glass of wine.

Amani Nature Reserve to Arusha
After breakfast, you will have another short hike into the cliff and the waterfall to explore the beauty of this rainforest. After lunch, you will have a drive from Amani to Arusha. On your way, you may pass Lake Chala if you have enough time. Your overnight stay and dinner will be at a charity hotel.
