Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You will be pick up at your place of residence in Nairobi. Depart Nairobi at 7:00am after a delightful breakfast and drive south across the Athi Plains, home of the Masai, and on to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as vast herds of wildebeests and many other animals, including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, and antelope with Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain peak providing a beautiful backdrop. We arrive mid-day and freshen up, followed by lunch and a short rest. You later explore the Amboseli plains on an afternoon game drive.

Meals and your overnight stay are at Aa Lodge Amboseli.

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing on a scenic 5-hour drive to Tsavo East National Park. You arrive at Voi Safari Lodge, check in and enjoy lunch. After lunch, depart for an afternoon drive in Tsavo East.

Dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.

After an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. From here, transfer to Voi Train Station, where you board your train to Mombasa, arriving at precisely 2:00pm. You will be picked up by a transfer driver who will drop you off at your hotel or villa in Mombasa or Diani.
