You will be picked up from Arusha at 8:00 a.m. and driven to Tarangire (a two-hour journey). You will enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, where a large concentration of elephants can be seen year-round. Tarangire is second only to the Serengeti ecosystem for its wildlife density. During the dry season, thousands of animals migrate from the Masai steppe to the Tarangire River looking for water. After lunch, you’ll drive to Mto Wa Mbu at Migombani campsite where you will have dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will head towards Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa—Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will be headed for the central area of the park, known as the Seronera, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River provides a valuable water source to this section of the park and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Seronera campsite.

Serengeti National Park
The whole day is dedicated to seeking out the Big Five from every angle of Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plains" in Maa, the local Maasai language. The park is home to more than four million different animals including thousands of elephants, buffalos, and lions, several hundred leopards, and dozens of black rhinoceros. After the full-day game drive, you will return to Seronera for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
This is your last opportunity to enjoy searching for and observing the Big Five in Serengeti. After lunch, there is an optional stop at a colorful Maasai people village. The Maasai are famous for defending themselves and their cattle from lions and other wild animals, using only spears and their bare hands! On this day, you have the option to do a hot-balloon safari (at extra cost). Later in the evening, you will be driven back to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will be driven to Ngorongoro for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles. Its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. The crater is just a small part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which offers a whole range of attractions for the adventurous traveler. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos, as well as black-maned lions. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game you can find here include leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the late evening, you will be driven back to Arusha.
