Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive to Tsavo on the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. On the way, we will make a short stop at Kilimanjaro Restaurant and then drive to the Tsavo Gate, the "Theater of the Wild"!

As you enter the gate, you will be welcomed by the red earth of Tsavo. The nature trails, bush savannah, and the first sightings of wild animals shape your impression of real Africa.

We will make our first game drive through the park in search of wild animals. Tsavo is home to thousands of wildlife, and every minute, something great might pop up on the way. We arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Check in and spend your midday to rest during the hottest time of the day.

In the evening, there is a second extended game drive through the park. Until the onset of dusk, you will explore the beauty of nature and its wildlife by Jeep. Filled with exciting impressions, we return for dinner and overnight at Sentrim Tsavo Camp.

Tsavo East National Park to Taita Salt Lick

We get up early for coffee or tea and set off on the early morning stalk at daybreak - the best time of the day to see the big cats! We roam the park and later return for a full, rich breakfast.

We pack our luggage and check out. We then make our last game drive in Tsavo, heading to the famous Taita Hill Sanctuary.

Salt Lick Safari Lodge is one of the world's most magnificent and photographed lodges with its awesome architecture. It is a lodge built on stilts. We arrive in time for lunch and check-in. After lunch, you have time to look around and relax.

In the afternoon, we start the game drive through the area and explore nature with the animal inhabitants until sunset. We return to Salt Lick Lodge to spend the night.

Optionally, we can opt to do the night game drive, which makes this park unique.

A nice evening awaits us at dinner, watching the animals approach the waterholes.

Taita Salt Lick Lodge to Mombasa

On this fine day, we wake up early, grab a cup of coffee and head on an early stalk before returning for a full breakfast.

We pack our bags and check out. Once again, we roam the area in search of wild animals for the last time before making our way back to Diani/Mombasa.

We take a lunch break at Kilimanjaro Restaurant, after which we continue to the coast to your hotel or cottage.

This is the end of your pure Kenya experience!
