You will leave Kigali and drive 6 hours to Nyungwe National Park in preparation for the next day. You may have an en-route lunch and a brief visit to Nyanza Kings Palace for a tour of how the old kings of Rwanda lived.
You will connect to your accommodation where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Chimpanzee Encounter in Nyungwe National Park

The chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe sets off at 5 am so you should be at the briefing point by that time. You will get a brief and set out into the forest. You will trek for about 2 hours or more depending until you meet the chimpanzees of Nyungwe forest. You will enjoy an hour with these playful creatures and later exit the forest for late breakfast or lunch.
