Game Drive in the Ndutu Region
Ndutu Region, in Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park's northern part, boasts lush grasslands and picturesque alkaline lakes, luring flamingos and surrounded by acacia woodlands. Year-round, Ndutu hosts giraffes, elephants, hyenas and various antelope species. During the Dry season (June to November), animals congregate around waterholes, and six cat species—lions, cheetahs, leopards, servals, African wildcats, and caracals—can be spotted.
The prime time to visit is when the great migration unfolds from December to April. Witness wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles giving birth in February, accompanied by predators like cheetahs, lions, and hyenas. Lake Ndutu becomes a game-viewing hotspot during this period.
