Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
Our driver and office representative will meet you at the airport in Nairobi. After customs procedures and a briefing, you will begin the drive to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at the hotel for lunch and go on a game drive from 3 PM to explore the park.
Lake Nakuru National Park is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingoes in residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep-pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Later, return for dinner and overnight.

Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, you drive to Aberdare National Park, arriving at the Aberdare Country Club in Nyeri at midday. After lunch at the country club, we transfer with the lodge vehicle to The Ark. Located just inside the gate of the park, The Ark overlooks waterholes and a saltlick. The lodge rises straight and stark on stilts and is solely dedicated to game viewing. The possibility of seeing wild animals up close has created The Ark tradition.
The Aberdare National Park is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range, a fascinating region of Kenya. Mountain ranges and peaks soar to around 14,000 feet and are home to leopards, lions, colobus monkeys, bongos, red duikers, sunis, birds, and rhinos. Dinner and overnight will be at The Ark Lodge.
