Afternoon Game Drive in Hwange National Park
This morning after having a hearty breakfast, you will make the journey south to Hwange National Park. Home to the Big Five, Hwange National Park also offers a wide variety of plains, game, and birdlife. You will swap to open safari vehicles today for your afternoon game drive and make your way into the famed Hwange National Park for your game drive which is situated in the far west of the country. Hwange lies in the incredible belt of Africa, spreading out into the neighboring Botswana hence permitting animals (elephants in particular) to wander freely between Hwange and Chobe National Park. Aside from elephants, this park is home to more than 100 mammal species including Africa’s Big Five (made up of leopard, lion, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as plenty of giraffes, cheetahs and brown hyenas.

Hwange National Park Full-Day Game Drive
You will be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Hwange National Park when we take you on a full-day guided game drive. This is the best thing about our safaris, and you will hopefully see many animals. You're going to love exploring Hwange National Park, which is in western Zimbabwe, close to the border with Botswana. There's so much wildlife action for you to look forward to around the waterholes, including incredible numbers of elephants. Zimbabwe's largest national park is home to the Big Five, along with giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, greater kudu, and various other antelope, and there's the possibility of seeing lions hunting elephants. Another reason why Hwange is so important is that it forms part of the five-country Kavango–Zambezi Trans-frontier Conservation Area.
