Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will go on another wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park. You might encounter animals you have not seen previously. The Serengeti is home to the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards), and you may have the chance to see all of them today! After lunch at a picnic location, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The caldera opens up before you as you approach the crater's edge. This approximately 20km (12mi) wide crater houses about 25,000 creatures. You will spend the night in a campsite right on the crater's edge, with breathtaking views of the caldera.

Ngorongoro Crater
You will descend over 600m (2,00ft) into the crater to observe the diverse fauna. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a variety of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants, supported by a year-round water and food supply.
This beautiful national park also boasts an abundant predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards. Some of these predators may require a trained eye to spot.
We will visit Lake Magadi, the crater's largest and shallowest alkaline lake in the southwest quadrant. You can often see large groups of flamingos, hippos, and other waterfowl here.
Your safari driver will take you to Engutuk Tok, a popular hangout spot near the hippo pool. Here, you can relax and use restroom facilities. In the late afternoon, we will head back to the camp to pack our belongings before returning to Arusha town.
