Day 1

Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
We will gather at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 05:30hrs for a meet and greet. From there, we will start our drive to Mikumi, leaving behind the humid and low-lying coastal belt. As we cross the hills of the coastal hinterland, the road descends onto scrub-covered plains. We'll pass by the Sisal plantations and get glimpses of the beautiful Uluguru Mountains above the plains and the town of Morogoro. We will make a stop here for a buffet lunch featuring Tanzanian cuisine. After lunch, we will proceed through Mikumi National Park and stop at the park gate for formalities before embarking on our first game drive. You will be able to see many animals like elephant, giraffe, lions, antelopes, and many more. Mikumi National Park provides excellent opportunity to view diverse number of animals and birds in a short period of time. In the late afternoon, we will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay Vuma Hills Tented Camp.

After the morning game drive at Mikumi National Park, we will return to Dar es Salaam arrival late afternoon and drop you off at your home, airport, or hotel. This marks the end of the tour.
