Nairobi City to Amboseli National Park

A Gemfinders Safaris driver guide will pick you up at the airport or hotel and provide a short briefing about the safari. We will proceed to Amboseli National Park via the busy Nairobi/Mombasa highway. We will drive past the Athi Plains and stop at Emali Town, from where we will drive on a rough road toward Amboseli. You will arrive at the lodge for check-in and in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go on a game drive in the park, searching for the resident wildlife.

Dinner and your overnight stay are at Little Amanya Camp.

Game Drive in Amboseli National Park and Transfer to Nairobi City

After an early breakfast, proceed for a game drive with possible clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its snow-capped peaks until 10 am. You will search for the Big Five. The wildlife viewing is enjoyable and even more exciting when you witness a lion trying to bring down its prey. This wildlife experience is your gift to take home!

Next, head to a Maasai village, where you'll immerse yourself in the culture of the Maasai people. Here, you'll get to learn about their traditions, customs, and way of life, making it a truly enriching experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to shop for traditional Maasai crafts and souvenirs.

Later, drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route, and enjoy the scenic journey before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
