Nairobi - Samburu

Our driver and office representative will meet you at the airport in Nairobi. After customs procedures and a briefing, we drive to Samburu National Reserve and have lunch at the camp. After lunch, we proceed for an afternoon game drive. This is the best time of day to view nocturnal hunters who prepare for their nightly expeditions. Begin your first game drive in Samburu, where you'll have the chance to spot unique wildlife such as reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and elusive leopards.

Return to your lodge for a delightful dinner and relax by the campfire, sharing stories of your day's adventures.

We start the day early with a refreshing breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, you will set out on a game drive as you explore this reserve and continue to spot unique animals.

Samburu - Meru

After breakfast, we leave the camp and drive to Meru National Park (made famous through the story of Elsa the lioness of Born Free fame). She was raised and released in this region by George and Joy Adamson.

Explore the area and enjoy memorable wildlife encounters on your guided game drives. See some of the smaller inhabitants of the bush. Enjoy the lush riverine forests, coursing rivers, and in contrast, the vast, dry open plains dotted with baobabs. Meru is a totally unspoiled part of Kenya. Revel in the remote and rugged atmosphere found here.

Return for dinner and your overnight stay.
