Day 1

Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Arusha To Tarangire National Park

On the first day, we will pick you up from Arusha /Kilimanjaro Airport or your hotel in (or around) Arusha. During the 2.5-hour drive, you will enjoy the beautiful nature and landscapes. In Tarangire, we'll do a game drive before lunch. After lunch at the picnic site, we'll do a game drive all afternoon. Tarangire National Park is located 115km south of Arusha and is a long and narrow park that covers 2850sq km and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park also comes from the Tarangire River, which is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. During the dry months, the concentration of animals around the Tarangire River is almost as diverse and reliable as in the Ngorongoro Crater. At the end of the afternoon, we will arrive at the Ngedere Lodge and Campsite where you can freshen up and get ready for dinner prepared by your private cook.

Serengeti National Park

On this day, our journey commences after a nourishing breakfast as we set our sights on the Serengeti. A 4-hour drive takes us to the Serengeti, and upon our arrival, we'll embark on an afternoon game drive following a satisfying lunch.

The Serengeti is renowned for its seemingly boundless expanses of savannah and lush forest landscapes. This park has gained fame for the extraordinary annual migration, where approximately 1.5 million herbivores and their entourage of thousands of predators navigate the terrain, driven by the ebb and flow of the seasons. As drought descends upon the northern hills, they journey southward, and with the return of the rains in mid-April, they trace a path back through the western part of the park.

As the day gracefully concludes, we'll reach the campsite nestled in the heart of the Serengeti. Here, your comfortable tent awaits, and in the evening, our skilled chef will craft a delectable dinner to savor.
