Upon your arrival at Windhoek International Airport, one of our friendly staff members will warmly welcome you and take you to your rental vehicle where they will provide a detailed orientation, addressing any questions you may have. Once you have everything in order, you can embark on your safari adventure!
Your journey takes you approximately four hours south to reach the captivating Kalahari Desert, where you will be accommodated at Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch. This luxurious lodge is renowned for its sweeping dunes, abundant wildlife (which includes meerkat families), and the enduring culture of the Koi-San people. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy a cheetah excursion, allowing you to get up close to these graceful predators. Afterwards, take a sundowner drive to witness the enchanting sight of the setting sun casting a warm glow over the crimson dunes. Later, savor a delectable meal, marking your first night in the tranquil beauty of Namibia.

Venture into the Namib Desert
After breakfast, your journey takes you west onto a gravel road for an approximately four-hour drive to the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
Sossusvlei Lodge is located near the park's entrance, providing you with easy access to its rolling dunes and uniquely adapted wildlife. Take a moment to refresh at the lodge while the staff caters to your needs before embarking on a sundowner drive to the dunes.
The next morning, you need to arrive at the park gate before sunrise to avoid the midday heat. It's approximately an hour's drive to reach Sossusvlei, with notable landmarks along the way like Dune 45. Afterward, continue your exploration of Sossusvlei with its stunning vistas. You can choose to ascend Big Daddy Dune for a breathtaking view or opt for a leisurely walk across smaller dunes to reach the ancient trees of Deadvlei. Conclude your day with a stop on your return to enjoy the coolness of Sesriem Canyon.

Explore the Namibian Coastline
The following morning, continue your journey along the gravel road for approximately an hour until you arrive at the quaint town of Solitaire. Here, you can enjoy some of their famous apple pie and a refreshing beverage. During the next three hours, you have interesting stops like Kuiseb Canyon and Vogberg.
Nestled in the heart of Swakopmund, you'll find the Atlantic Villa Boutique Hotel, located within easy walking distance of most attractions. Explore the interesting architecture, take a stroll along the pier, or savor delightful meals at the town's great restaurants and bars.
During your stay, prepare for some thrilling excursions. Enjoy a quad bike adventure through the dunes and set sail on a catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay. Observe the playful seals and majestic pelicans, and, if lucky, catch a glimpse of dolphins while sipping sparkling wine and indulging in locally sourced oysters.

Delve into Damaraland
The following day you'll drive an hour along the Skeleton Coast, stopping at the Zeila Shipwreck en route to the town of Hentiesbaai. From here, you'll travel three hours northeast toward the savannah plains and rocky outcroppings of Damaraland.
Nestled among these distinctive boulders is Camp Kipwe, a lodge that not only offers comfort but also provides stunning vistas of the surrounding landscapes. As the sun sets, relish delicious dinners under a star-studded canopy.
Throughout your stay, you'll have the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the region. Embark on a guided Desert Adapted Elephant and Nature drive along the dry Huab River, or (optionally) venture on your own to Brandberg Mountain, Namibia's largest mountain, known for the famous "White Lady" rock painting. Marvel at Bushmen rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the nation's first heritage site, and witness ancient petrified forests and towering rock organ pipes that seem to stretch endlessly toward the sky.

The next day involves another four-hour drive inland, bringing you to one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations, Etosha National Park. This sanctuary derives its name from the massive salt pan that lies within the park.
Just a short distance from the park's central gate, Etosha Safari Lodge boasts a prime location, affording picturesque views of the mopane woodlands. Enhance your stay with a full-day game drive within the park where you'll discover its abundant wildlife, birdlife, and stunning scenery at your own pace. Alternatively, relax at the lodge, take a refreshing swim in the pool, and savor the wilderness.
For a more guided experience, the lodge offers a range of activities, including full-day excursions into Etosha National Park, half-day game drives, and guided walks. Today, you'll take a leisurely drive south, gradually making your way back to Windhoek. Along your journey, you'll arrive in the charming town of Outjo. If you wish to take a break and enjoy a refreshing beverage, the Outjo Bakkery comes highly recommended.
Leaving the town, it's a drive of approximately one hour and thirty minutes to your final destination for the night, Okonjima Private Game Reserve. Here, you'll find not only luxury but also the promise of extraordinary wildlife encounters. In the afternoon, embark on a leopard tracking activity, savoring the splendors of Africa one final time. Whether you delight in birdwatching or marveling at the local wildlife, they offer it all.
If your schedule allows, the lodge also offers optional activities like game drives and rhino or pangolin tracking on foot.

Last Stretch to Windhoek
Regrettably, it's time to bid farewell to your safari as this is the final day. You have the option to go on your last morning game drive (additional cost) before embarking on an approximate three-hour drive to reach Hosea Kutako International Airport. Here, one of our staff members will meet you, complete the vehicle handover, and assist you with the check-in procedures. We recommend arriving at least three hours before your outbound flight.
If your schedule allows, you can explore Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Should you wish to extend your stay in Windhoek for an extra night or go on an optional city tour, we can make these arrangements at an additional cost.
