At 8:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park. On this first day, you will have a boat safari at Rufiji River. The mighty Rufiji is known for its population of hippos.
The river has been designated as a photographic zone and is a popular tourist destination. Get yourself ready to learn and experience a mesmerizing Tanzania culture. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Africa Safari Camp or similar.

Game Drives in Nyerere National Park

You'll have a morning breakfast, and go for a morning and afternoon game drive with lunch boxes. The park is rich in wildlife, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, hippos, and crocodiles. You'll explore the park with your professional safari driver. Later after a sunset view, you'll drive back to the African Safari Selous Tent or similar for dinner and an overnight stay.

This unique tour will allow you to meet and interact with the community and experience their culture and lifestyle. After the tour, you will continue to drive back to Dar es Salaam where you will arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or ferry port.
