Upon arrival at the International Airport, our team will greet you and you will undergo an orientation including your itinerary and addressing any questions before embarking on your self-drive adventure. The approximately five-hour journey southwest to Sossusvlei Lodge presents two options – wine tasting at Neuras Wine & Wildlife Estate for enthusiasts or a scenic stop at Spreetshoogte Pass. Both converge at Solitaire where you can savor its renowned apple pie before the final hour's drive.

Nestled on the park's edge, Sossusvlei Lodge offers views of the desert landscape and wildlife at your doorstep. Upon arrival, unwind as the staff caters to your needs before enjoying a sundowner drive to the red dunes. The next day opt for an optional early morning self-drive or guided excursion to Sossusvlei, marveling blackened trees of Deadvlei. Guided excusrion comes at an additional cost.

Optional activities like a hot air balloon activity can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day 3-4

Today, embark on a scenic four-hour drive to Swakopmund, a coastal town on the Atlantic Ocean at the edge of the Namib Desert. Enjoy a slice of apple pie at Solitaire, if you haven't already, before proceeding on another three-hour self-drive, featuring fascinating optional stops like the Kuiseb Canyon, characterized by its impressive rock formations, steep cliffs, and distinctive ecosystems, and curious Vogberg.

Stay at the Strand Hotel, located on Swakopmund's coastline, offering various culinary delights and exceptional service. Explore German colonial architecture, stroll on the jetty, and experience dune adventures on a quad bike. The next morning, wake up early for a catamaran cruise at Walvis Bay, marveling at seals, pelicans, and possibly dolphins, accompanied by sparkling wine and locally farmed oysters.

Day 5

Today's drive offers two options: a roughly three hours and forty minutes starting with a scenic route along the Skeleton Coast, passing the Zeila Shipwreck and the angling town of Hentiesbaai, before turning inland to your destination. Alternatively, you can follow the B2 for approximately an hour before turning onto the gravel road for the last hour to reach Ai-aiba Lodge in Damaraland.

Nestled at the foot of the Erongo Mountains, with large boulders scattered throughout the landscape, the lodge is renowned for its multitude of rock paintings set in the remains of an eroded volcanic complex. Upon arrival, take time to relax and refresh before embarking on a guided walk up a granite hill to enjoy a mesmerizing sundowner with a beautiful scenic view.

Optional activities during your stay include guided morning walks or a nature and bushman rock art drive, which can be arranged at additional costs.

As you journey approximately four hours north, the landscape transforms from rocky dolomites to Mopane woodlands and open savannahs. Along the way, you have the option to stop and sample local wine at Erongo Winery in Omaruru. Consider a visit to the small town of Outjo to enjoy a bite at Outjo Bakery before the final hour's drive to Etosha Oberland Lodge.

Located ten kilometers outside one of Africa's largest wildlife sanctuaries, Etosha National Park, with its vast saltpan and home to most of the Big Five, the lodge offers a relaxing retreat. Indulge in exquisite meals and soak in the spectacular views of open plains and gnarled trees while cooling off in an infinity pool.

During the day, explore the wonders of Etosha National Park on your own, witnessing its diverse wildlife. Alternatively, opt for an Etosha Game Drive or a Guided Walk with an experienced guide, available at additional costs and arranged at the lodge.

Today signals the conclusion of your adventure as you embark on the final estimated five-hour drive south to Windhoek. Along the way, you can choose to make a stop at Etosha Corner before completing the last leg of your journey. Upon arrival, a dedicated staff member will retrieve the vehicle, conduct the handover at Hosea Kutako International Airport, scheduled three hours prior to your departure.

For individuals with sufficient time in their schedules, there are optional activities like the Windhoek City Tour available for an extra fee. Additionally, an extra night can be organized at an added cost.
