Dar es Salaam - Nyerere National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel or Airport in Dar es Salaam, and we'll make sure to pack a lunch for you before we head out to Nyerere National Park, also known as "The Land of the Mighty Rufiji". This park is the largest in Africa, covering a massive area of 30,893 km2. It is home to one of the world's largest concentrations of wildlife. After completing the necessary formalities, we will embark on an exciting game drive. In the late afternoon, we will return to the camp for dinner and spend the night at Africa Safari Selous.

Nyerere National Park - Full Guided Game Drive

After breakfast, there will be two full-day game drives at Nyerere National Park. The park is home to numerous attractions that visitors can enjoy such as the ability to see the Big Five, large concentrations of elephants and hippos, and the Rufiji River which is full of abundant wildlife. The park also boasts beautiful and scenic landscapes, adding to the majestic beauty of the place. Additionally, the park is home to the largest population of African wild dogs in the world. Dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Selous.

Nyerere National Park - Game Drive & Boat Safari

After breakfast, there will be two half-day game drives at Nyerere National Park. The park is home to numerous attractions that visitors can enjoy such as the ability to see the Big Five, large concentrations of elephants and hippos, and the Rufiji River which is full of abundant wildlife. The park also boasts beautiful and scenic landscapes, adding to the majestic beauty of the place. Additionally, the park is home to the largest population of African wild dogs in the world. Back to the hotel for lunch and and relaxation till 0400am then embark on boat safari in the Great Rufiji River to enjoy the sunset and see the hippos bubbling in the water and various species of birds on the river bank. After sunset back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Africa Safari Selous.

Nyerere National Park - Mikumi National Park

After having breakfast, we will drive to Mikumi National Park while carrying a packed lunch with us. Once we reach the Mikumi Park Gate, we will proceed for a game drive. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, such as buffaloes, lions, zebras, giraffes, and elephants. You can see giraffes browsing leaves from the isolated acacia trees that are found along the Mkata River. Additionally, the greater kudu and sable antelope can be found in the miombo woodland-covered foothills of the mountain that rises from the park. We will have dinner and spend the night at Tan-Swiss Lodge.

Mikumi National Park - Full Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you can enjoy a full-day game drive at Mikumi National Park, followed by a hot lunch featuring delicious Tanzanian cuisine at Tanzania National Park Authority Restaurant. The park offers a variety of fascinating attractions, including the Hippo pools which provide a unique opportunity to observe these mud-loving beasts up close. Bird watching is also a popular activity in the park. On the grassy plains, you can spot a variety of wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and buffaloes. Enjoy the game drive till sunset then back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Tan-Swiss Lodge.

Mikumi National Park - Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast, have a sunrise game drive in Mikumi National Park, then with picnic lunches proceed on game drive until the afternoon. Then you will drive back to Dar es Salaam arrive around late in the afternoon drop back at your hotel or Airport in Dar es Salaam, that mark the end of the Safari.
