Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara

This tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport. Your guide will give you a short briefing about the safari before you journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. Your first stopover will be at the Rift Valley viewpoint, where the beautiful scenery will introduce you to Kenya's richly diverse landscape. Later, you'll proceed with your drive via Narok town, arriving in Masai Mara in time for a hot lunch.
You will have an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara, which will give you an orientation on the wildlife you will encounter on your Kenya safari. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of animals compared to any other park in Kenya. The game drive will continue until the sun sets. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 2

You can start this day with a hot-air balloon safari, an optional activity available on pre-arrangement and at an extra cost.
You’ll spend the day exploring the vast plains in search of its wildlife, a haven for the big cats. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most-known parks in the world and is a highlight of this Kenya wildlife tour. Sightings for today include cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, and zebras, which dominate the scene, while antelopes, warthogs, and wildebeests form formidable numbers. You will have a picnic lunch and continue to venture through the plains, looking for real close wildlife encounters. Tracing the various animals, you find yourself at the Mara River, which has crocodiles and hippos. This is the wildebeest crossing point from the neighboring Serengeti.
An optional local Maasai village visit can be arranged at the end of the day (at an extra cost). Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

Day 3
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park for the last chance to spot the big cats hunting as the sun rises, lighting the golden plains of Masai Mara. Your Kenya safari adventure continues to Lake Nakuru, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa. It is widely known as a bird paradise and a rhino sanctuary. You’ll arrive in the evening for a short game drive in the park and a relaxing evening at the camp.

Day 4
Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

This day will start with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This alkaline lake is host to millions of pink flamingos that cover the lake’s shorelines. The lake ecosystem is also a habitat for over 400 species of birds. The park has cliff tops that serve as viewpoints for seeing lions, white and black rhinos, waterbucks, reedbucks, warthogs, and buffaloes. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see both the white and black rhinos at the same place, as this park is also a rhino sanctuary.
Later, you will exit the park and start your journey to Amboseli National Park, stopping for a hot lunch on the way. As you make your way to Nairobi, you will stop on the escarpment. Then, you will proceed to Amboseli. Arriving in the evening, you will check into your camp, where you can rest before dinner.

After breakfast, we head to the park for our full-day game viewing. Your Kenya adventure safari today consists of panoramic views, large herds of elephants walking slowly on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, buffalos bathing in the swampy areas, giraffes feeding on the treetops, zebras, warthogs, lions, and more wildlife. You will have your picnic lunch under a tree shade and continue scouring this semi-arid park for more of its wildlife.
In the evening, when the clouds open, the snow-capped highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is more visible and gives a fairytale view as you marvel at the elephants roaming at the foot of the mountain. Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa to get up close to wild elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed! As always, your driver guide will be at your disposal for even more game-viewing drives.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, you'll check out with a game drive en route as you head to Emali Train Station. Be sure to adhere to the timelines to arrive at Emali Train Station in time for the Madaraka Inter-County SGR Train, which makes scheduled stops along the way to Mombasa's train Terminus.
Your first-class ticket is included with the tour, so enjoy the comfort of your air-conditioned compartment as you travel through sections of Amboseli. The train route is positioned higher than the roadway and offers an elevated view. With its large windows, you’ll enjoy wonderful vistas of the passing landscapes.
You will be picked up by our representative upon arrival for a transfer to your beach resort, where you will spend your beach holiday. After check-in and freshening up, you can lounge by the poolside, taking in the beautiful sights of the ocean and palm trees. Enjoy a restful time in this beautiful place.

Depending on your flight time, you will transfer to Ukunda Airport for your flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where you will connect with your flight back home.
If your outbound flight is slotted for late evening or late night, we can arrange for a late check-out from Diani Sea Resort so that you fly into JKIA with just enough time for the check-in process (usually leave around 3 to 4 hours for this activity).
