Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai mara

Pick up from your hotel and depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will travel via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for stretching and refueling. After, leave Narok and drive to the reserve arriving at the camp, Check-in and relax for a few minutes after lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Olodare camp.

After breakfast in your camp, proceeds on a full day of game viewing within the reserve, the landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for games in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Continue with the game drive till late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Olodare camp.

Day 3

Early morning breakfast and the option of visiting the Maasai village for cultural tour of the Maasai people. After, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longonot, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in Nakuru town in the evening. Dinner and overnight are at the Buraha zenoni resort.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and Waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline–enjoy a hot lunch and drive to lake Naivasha–you have an option to take a boat ride in this freshwater lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at an extra cost of $20. Dinner and overnight at the Aloepark Hotel.

After breakfast in the hotel have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle in this only biking National Park in the region at $10. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chandler’s Mountain Reedbuck–enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop back to the Nairobi hotel, residence or Airport.
