Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, an Asilia driver awaits you at the arrivals terminal. You'll then transfer across town, skirting Nairobi National Park on your way to Wilson Airport. From there, you'll catch your domestic flight to the Masai Mara. Upon landing at Ol Kiombo Airstrip, a Rekero Camp guide will welcome you and share area information during the short drive to the camp.

After settling into your accommodation, you'll enjoy lunch with a scenic view of the Talek River. In the mid-afternoon, you'll indulge in tea, coffee, and pastries before embarking on your game drive. You'll explore the plains or follow the river, keeping an eye out for the migration if it's in the vicinity. As the sun sets, you'll relish the breathtaking scenery and a refreshing beverage. You'll head back to the camp to freshen up, unwind with some "bush TV," and enjoy a delicious dinner beneath the African stars.

Mornings on safari start early to catch wildlife during their most active time. You'll receive a gentle wake-up call at the agreed time with your preferred hot drink delivered to your tent. You'll enjoy it in bed while listening to the dawn chorus. A picnic breakfast can be taken from the camp and savored once the sun is up. In the late morning, you will return to the camp to freshen up and have lunch under the trees, accompanied by the sounds of hippos in the river below.

After lunch, you'll relax on your daybed with a book or on the deck with binoculars to observe river activity. As the daytime temperature cools, you'll enjoy tea, coffee, and freshly baked treats in the lounge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Your chosen cold drinks are available in the vehicle fridge. As the day ends, you will return to the camp for a fireside chat and a delightful dinner.

Travel to the Naboisho Conservancy

This morning offers a relaxed start with breakfast at camp before your transfer to Mara Naboisho Conservancy. The drive allows for wildlife viewing. You'll arrive at Naboisho Camp in the late morning. After settling in, you'll enjoy lunch on the grass in front of the lounge. Following lunch, you can take a dip in the swimming pool, relax in the lounge, or unwind on your daybed while watching for passing wildlife.

In the afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive to explore the conservancy and its diverse wildlife. The vehicle fridge is stocked with your favorite sundowner to enjoy as the sun sets. Unlike other areas, there's no rush to return to camp due to the conservancy's rules, allowing you to savor the gathering dusk and its sounds. Upon returning to camp, you have time for a hot shower before dinner in the dining tent, where you can share stories about the day's adventures.

While you can still enjoy morning and afternoon game drives from Naboisho Camp, there's also the option for a different perspective by going on a guided walking safari. These are best during the cooler morning hours, tailored to your group's preferences. The focus shifts to the immediate environment, birdlife, flora, and tracking spoors, offering a unique experience.

You can also explore a neighboring Maasai community for insight into their culture and way of life. This replaces a game drive and is considered a special and insightful experience. In the evening, you'll venture out on a night game drive to spot less common nocturnal species. Sitting in the bush in complete darkness, with only the sounds of the night, will create lasting memories.
