Day 1

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Early morning departure from Arusha, arriving around noon at Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this vast expanse of savannah and forests, spanning approximately 30,000km², with 80% of it in Tanzania. The park is renowned for the annual wildebeest migration, involving 1.5 million herbivores and countless predators, as they journey from the parched northern hills to the lush southern plains. After mid-April rains, they return via a western route. The park's grasslands, covering over a third of the area, offer abundant wildlife year-round.

At day's end, we reach the campsite nestled in the heart of the Serengeti. Your tent is ready, and our chef prepares a delightful dinner in the evening.

In the crater's heart lies a salt lake, making it one of the world's most densely populated wildlife regions. It's a unique place where wildlife and indigenous people, like the authentic Masai, coexist. You'll take in the awe-inspiring landscape and its marvelous residents from the crater's rim.
