Day 2

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel, your skilled driver-guide will pick you up, and your journey will commence towards Tarangire National Park. You'll embark on a thrilling game drive within the park, with a delightful picnic lunch to keep you energized. As the day transitions into evening, you'll check in at the camp, where a delectable dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await.

Tarangire is among Tanzania's most extensive parks, situated in the Manyara region. It's distinguished by its sizable elephant herds, as well as the captivating baobab trees, which hold mythical significance in some local cultures. The Tarangire River flows through the park year-round and plays a vital role as the primary water source for animals during the dry season. Your safari will commence following breakfast at your hotel as you embark on a journey to Materuni Waterfall, nestled near the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching the village, your adventure begins with a leisurely walk to the Materuni Waterfall. Along the way, you'll have the chance to encounter numerous chameleons, diverse tree species, birds, insects, and various fruits. Eventually, you'll arrive at the waterfall, where pristine freshwater flows from the Kilimanjaro forest. If you wish to take a refreshing swim, don't forget to bring your swimwear. Afterward, you'll stroll back to the village for a coffee tour and savor a hot lunch featuring local Chagga cuisine.
