Upon your arrival our professional driver will pick you up at the Airport and transfer you to your at Summit Lodge. then take your time to discover the beauty of Arusha city from Clock tower (the half way between Cairo Egypt to Cape Town South Africa) and take walking to Maasai Market, proceed to Arusha Declaration monument and museum, central market to learn different African spices, vegetable and fruits, visit Arusha City bus terminal, then later drive to Cultural Heritage Centre for shopping of your souvenirs.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Today your safari adventure begins, you will be picked up at your hotel/lodge in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 3

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

On this day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, driving back to Arusha.

You will be picked up from the hotel in Arusha. First you will visit the waterfalls. On the way, trail can be slippery & muddy best to have good hiking boots. The views are truly breathtaking, with some luck you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. The waterfall is more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don‘t forget your swimwear. After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return for a traditional lunch. Coffee experience awaits you. Learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed. You will also be invited to help with them grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by songs and dances. You can savour the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.
