Located about 120 km from Arusha, the journey takes approximately two hours. Despite being the sixth largest park in Tanzania, Tarangire offers a rich and rewarding experience. Known for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and excellent birdwatching, the park is a hidden gem for nature lovers. You'll enjoy a scenic game drive through its open savannahs, observing a variety of wildlife and learning about the park’s smaller creatures and unique ecosystem. As the day winds down, you’ll head to your tented lodge for relaxation, a delicious dinner, and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Home to the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino—the park also hosts the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move in search of fresh grazing. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp, you’ll have time to relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind in preparation for tomorrow’s adventure—the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most celebrated natural wonders.

As you descend into this natural amphitheater, you’ll experience close-up encounters with wildlife set against a backdrop of lush plains and shimmering soda lakes, earning its reputation as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, you’ll ascend from the crater and drive to your accomodation for relaxation dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, your Kojuu Safaris guide will pick you up for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Though smaller in size and now more forested than in the past, Manyara offers a truly unique wilderness experience. Its diverse landscapes include the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment, lush woodlands, and picturesque mountainsides. The park is centered around its alkaline lake, home to a wide variety of birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. While it may not have as many large mammals as other northern parks, it makes up for it with rich biodiversity and serene beauty. After your game drive, you’ll begin your journey back, aiming to arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport by 6:00 pm. Kojuu Safaris remains flexible in case of any schedule adjustments.
