Arrival and City tour

Upon arrival, our driver guide will receive you from the Airport, take you through the itinerary and then head to the hotel in Kigali where you will check-in quickly and then go for the city tour. You will enjoy visiting different scenic points of the city of a thousand hills, visit Genocide memorial museum, you will as well visit different markets and artisans and buy some souvenirs in case you want, you will interact with the locals, taste their dish in case you want and then in then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Arise in the morning, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, check-out of the hotel and head to Volcanoes national park and drive will take you about 5-6 hours in the countryside as you enjoy the homesteads and different enticing view points, arriving in the afternoon for lunch, check-in the lodge and enjoy the dinner and have an overnight.

Gorilla trekking and visit Iby’wacu cultural village

Wake up in the morning, grab a cup of tea and head to the park’s headquarters here you will be briefed about the mountain gorilla trekking etiquettes. You will later head to the thick forest where you will meet these beautiful mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will take videos as many as you want spending an hour with them and then return to lodge for lunch and then in the evening, you will intermingle with the Rwandan culture through dances, songs, ancient stories and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Golden monkey tracking and transfer to Akagera National Park

Wake up in the morning, enjoy your delicious breakfast and head to the park headquarter for briefing and then head to bamboo forests for yet another eventful day where you will meet the long awaited primates golden monkeys, whose name is derived from its color. You will meet these monkeys playing, making all sorts of comic after seeing you. You will spend an hour with these monkeys and then return to the lodge where you will enjoy your hot lunch and then check-out of the lodge as you head to Akagera National Park.

Game drive and boat cruise on Lake Ihema

This is another beautiful day for you to immerse yourself in the jungle of Akagera National Park where you will take part in game drive to spot most of the wild animals such as buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopard and these are the Africa’s big 5, return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening at around 3, you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will enjoy the gentle water experience as you see animals and birds that will be on the lake shore resting. After the dusk, you will return to the lodge for your mouthwatering dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Bwindi and Batwa cultural tour

In the morning, you will check-out of the lodge and cross to Uganda to have a different touch of the safaris rewarding your sour and mind blowing experience. You will arrive in the evening hours, check-in the lodge and then go for Batwa cultural tour where you will meet the shortest people in the whole world. They are also known as the bushmen, they have been in the forest since time immemorial, they have a strong attachment to the forest which they will tell you through their stories and after there, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Double gorilla trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up in the early morning, enjoy breakfast of grab a cup of tea/coffee and be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking, you will be given a gorilla family to track, head to the jungle with a ranger for gorilla trekking. Spending an hour in the presence of the gorillas is a breathtaking experience that will give you undying memories, after tracking you will return to the park headquarters for tracking certificate and then proceed to the lodge, get your lunch packed and head to the Queen Elizabeth National Park a place that harbors tree climbing lions. You will arrive in the evening, check-in to the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Game drive, launch cruise and transfer to Kibale

Arise for yet another eventful day, head to the jungle to meet the tree climbing lions and they are only found here in the whole of Uganda, you will see other animals like Africa savanna elephants, cape buffaloes, hyenas, birds, among others, you will later go for a boat cruise to spot animals as they swimming in Kazinga channel, and this is the water body that connects two Lakes Edward and Lake Gorge which is the border of Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo, lunch will be saved on the launch cruise. After a boat cruise, embark on the journey to Kibale Forest National Park, arrive in the evening, and check-in the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk

Arise in the morning, have breakfast and head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking experience. You will track chimpanzees for an hour, return to the lodge for lunch and then in the evening you will go to Bigodi wetland where you will be pleased to see shoebill stork and other species. Retire to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight.
