Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After an early morning breakfast, our driver will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and head to Tarangire National Park, which is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June–November), as wildlife concentrations rival those of the Serengeti (since enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species. In the evening, you will drive to Mto Wa Mbu for your overnight stay at Ngare Lodge.

Main Destination:

Tarangire - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park, enjoying the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. Leaving the highlands behind, you will enter the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance, as far as the eye can see. You will head to the central area of the park, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats. In this part of the park, you will visit the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. You will arrive in time for lunch, and afterwards, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later in the day, you will have dinner and your overnight stay in the intimate Camp Seronera.

Main Destination:
Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)

Day 3

Full day at Serengeti National Park

Full day at Serengeti National Park

Today you will wake up early, have a cup of coffee, and take off for a sunrise morning game until late in the morning. You will then return to the campsite for brunch. After your meal, you will check out and take off on an exciting game drive in the Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is the world's last great wildlife refuge, as it contains an estimated three million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature's wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq km, and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word 'Siringet', meaning endless plains. I hope after all activities you will go back to your camp for your overnight stays.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive to the crater for the crater tour. Your expert guide will take you in search of the big game. The animals allow you to get up close for great photos. This is one of Tanzania’s top parks for wildlife. You are likely to see most of the “Big Five”, with lions, buffalo, and elephants being almost certain, rhinos relatively likely, and leopards a little more elusive. You are also likely to see great numbers of zebras and wildebeests, as well as spotted hyenas. Later in the day, you will ascend back up the crater and head to the Karatu Farm of Dreams for dinner and your overnight stay.

The park is home to the famous tree-climbing lion, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and troops of baboons. You will also see the majestic pink flamingo, ostrich, Egyptian geese, and more. After your picnic lunch, you will take part in an afternoon game drive, later driving to a Maasai village to experience the different activities and cultures of the Maasai people.
