A Scenic Drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll start the day with an early pick-up from your hotel, residence, or airport. An early departure creates more time for a daytime game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, as the day's ticket does not allow reentry the following morning. The drive to Lake Nakuru is scenic and will certainly awaken your safari spirit.

Lake Nakuru National Park is relatively small in size, but its fenced-in nature allows for an impressive game drive with a chance to see the black rhinos. The park is a haven for endangered rhinos and a paradise for bird lovers.

Around lunchtime, you'll have a picnic lunch and continue with an afternoon game drive, exiting the park at around 5:30 p.m. and driving for around 30 minutes to Punda Milias Nakuru for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast and check-out, you will traverse the Mau Escarpment towards the Masai Mara. En route, you'll pass by famous geographic features such as the volcanic Mount Longonot to the horizon.

You will arrive at Enchoro Camp in time for lunch. Afterward, you will embark on an afternoon game drive inside the vast Masai Mara National Reserve.

In the evening, around 6:00 p.m., you will exit the park and return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
