Day 1

You will depart from Arusha and make your way to Tarangire National Park. The journey from Arusha to the park's entry gate typically takes around 2 hours. Tarangire is renowned for its population of elephants, making it a fantastic destination for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Upon entering the park, your photography safari will commence, and you'll have the opportunity to observe various wildlife species such as impalas, giraffes, zebras, and more. Your experienced guide will lead you to the Tarangire River, a focal point for wildlife activity and a popular spot to spot elephants. Day 2

Lake Natron

After breakfast, you will depart from Tarangire National Park and drive to Lake Natron, a unique and beautiful soda lake located in northern Tanzania. The journey takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, covering a distance of 250 km.

Lake Natron is famous for its flamingos, which flock to the lake to feed on the algae that thrives in its alkaline waters. In addition to flamingos, Lake Natron is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes.

Once you arrive at Lake Natron, you will embark on a full-day game drive. Your guide will take you to the best spots to see wildlife and take amazing photos. You will also have the opportunity to visit the nearby Maasai villages and learn about their culture.

Day 3

Serengeti NP

In the morning, you'll have the opportunity to revisit Lake Manyara, Meanwhile, your driver and cook will efficiently pack up all the camping equipment.

After breakfast, you'll begin your journey towards Serengeti National Park via Clain's Gate. Along the way, you'll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch. Once you enter Serengeti National Park, you'll embark on a game drive, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and searching for wildlife sightings as you make your way towards the central region of Serengeti.

Upon reaching the central Serengeti, you'll have the opportunity to set up your camp at a public campsite. This allows you to experience the authentic camping atmosphere while enjoying the convenience of the facilities provided. Your camp will serve as a comfortable and cozy base amidst the vast wilderness of Serengeti National Park, ensuring you're well-rested for the upcoming days of exploration and wildlife encounters.

Day 4

Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart from your lodge and embark on a full-day game drive in the central Serengeti National Park. This is the heart of the Serengeti, and it is where you are most likely to see large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and other animals.

Your guide will take you to the best spots to see wildlife, including the Seronera River and the Ndutu area. You may also have the opportunity to visit the Olduvai Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological sites in Africa.

In the afternoon, stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot. You will then continue your game drive until it is time to return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After enjoying an early breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to descend 600 meters to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, a remarkable and self-contained ecosystem.

The Ngorongoro Crater is teeming with wildlife, including carnivores, antelopes, and herbivores, making it a haven for biodiversity. Keep your eyes peeled for the chance to spot all members of the Big 5 - lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes. The crater provides an excellent chance to witness these iconic creatures in their natural habitat.

As you explore the crater, you'll also encounter an array of waterbirds at Magadi Lake, including graceful flamingoes, elegant herons, and majestic pelicans. The picturesque scenery and rich wildlife create a captivating atmosphere that will leave you in awe.

On the final day of your 6-day budget safari, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, where you'll be greeted by the sight of primates frolicking in the trees near the park's entry gate. Lake Manyara is a relatively small park but boasts its own unique beauty and diverse wildlife.

For bird enthusiasts, Lake Manyara is a haven. The park is renowned for its diverse bird population, ranging from small and colorful species to larger, majestic birds. Bird watchers will have a field day spotting and photographing the wide variety of avian species present in the park.

In the late afternoon, depending on your departure flight schedule, you'll make your way back to Arusha or directly to the airport for your departure.
