Your day begins with a pick-up from the airport/hotel, where your knowledgeable safari guide will meet you. As you leave the bustling city behind, you will embark on a scenic drive towards Amboseli National Park, approximately 4 hours from Nairobi. Amboseli is synonymous with two things—majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, this national park is one of the most popular in Kenya. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. During the drive, your guide will provide interesting facts about the park, its diverse wildlife, and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the park's skyline. The population of these noble giants is so dense that you are guaranteed to see them up close in their natural habitat. Lunch, dinner, and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Your guide will navigate the park, ensuring you have the best opportunities to spot animals. During the game drive, your guide will share their extensive knowledge about the park's ecosystem, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts. They will also provide interesting stories about the park's cultural heritage, including its connection to the Masai community. These will be two full days of exploring this amazing park. You can choose to have game drives or rest in your lodge; just let the driver guide know what you want.

Day 4

You will depart Amboseli in the morning and drive via Nairobi to the floor of the Great Rift Valley. En route, you will have a hot picnic lunch and then arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park for your afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a fascinating mix of dazzling birdlife with the more traditional land-based safari wildlife. A rhino sanctuary features a large population of white and black rhinos. You can also find the rare Rothschild's giraffe feeding in the park's acacia forests. Other surprises move over its shores and through its woodlands—waterbucks, hyenas, baboons, and monkeys.

After having breakfast, you drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most significant wildlife reserves, arriving in time for a hot lunch. You will have an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara, which will give you an orientation on the wildlife to find on your Kenya safari. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of animals compared to any other park in Kenya. The game drive will continue until the sun goes down. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 6-7

These two days may start with a hot-air balloon safari, an optional activity available on pre-arrangement and at an extra cost.
You will spend the day exploring the vast plains in search of its wildlife, a haven for the big cats. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most well-known reserves in the world and is a highlight of this Kenya wildlife tour. It has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer compared to any other park in the region. Tracing the various animals, you find yourself at the Mara River with crocodiles and hippos, the main crossing point for wildebeests during their annual migration from the neighboring Serengeti. The Mara plains comprise wildlife and the communities of the Masai people.
An optional local Masai village visit can be arranged at the end of the day at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

At the break of dawn, embark on your concluding game drive, followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check out before a return road transfer to Nairobi. Onward drop-off at JKIA for your flight home or at your overnight hotel.
