Day 1-2

Arrive in Victoria Falls & explore

On arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your guest house for the next 2 nights. Shongwe Lookout is set in the leafy, quiet suburbs of Victoria Falls, with an inviting pool and pleasant gardens. The en-suite rooms are well laid out. The main area has an elevated platform that towers over the trees and towards the Falls, it is a great place for a sunset drink.

You will have a full day in Victoria Falls to explore at your own pace. A short taxi ride will have you in town to explore the amazing stone-carving markets. You can walk around all the viewing points of Victoria Falls, take a sunset cruise and so much more.

Day 3-4

Transfer to Chobe National Park, enjoy boat cruise & game drives

After breakfast and a leisurely morning, you will be transferred over the border to Kasane and through Chobe National Park to the quieter Chobe Forest Reserve and the perfectly located Chobe Elephant Camp. Crossing the border is a quick affair and you will be on the road in no time. Chobe Elephant Camp has airconditioned chalets that are ensuite and have a small sitting area, overlooking the Chobe Flood Plain. The main areas have a small lounge and bar space, dining area, a fire pit and pool which all overlook the same beautiful vistas.

There is a range of activities to enjoy here, with game drives, night drives, bush walks and boat cruises, all led by experienced local guides. Canoeing is available at certain times of the year and there is an interesting community visit you can enjoy. Spend a full day out to do a boat cruise on the iconic Chobe River along with a game drive in the Chobe National park.

Transfer to Kasane Airport in time for a small light aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango for the last 3 nights of this epic safari. You will fly to Okuti, a camp with some of the best game-viewing territory in the Okavango. Okuti’s excellent location in the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta ensures a combination of permanent water access for year-round water activities & large dry areas for game drive routes.

Okuti has unique reed & canvas rooms, exceptionally unique in style and architecture all rooms overlook the permanent Maunachira channel. Each en-suite bathroom provides both an indoor & outdoor shower. Connected by raised wooden walkways all areas of camp are wheelchair accessible.

Enjoy game drives in the very picturesque Moremi area, with its excellent game viewing due to its widely varied &protected habitats which support a huge variety of wildlife. Cruise the waterways & open lagoons to see heronries, excellent birdlife and aquatic animals like hippos.

Courtesy of its location, Okuti can offer both water and land activities year-round. This blend of environments provides the habitat for a consistently wide variety of wildlife, including the elusive sitatunga antelope and a healthy population of leopards.

Motorboats provide a chance to experience the incredible bird, plant and reptile species found in the aquatic habitat of the Okavango Delta. Game drives are conducted by a personal guide in comfortable, specially designed game drive vehicles. When out on game drives, our window seat ensures no more than 4 guests per vehicle and individual use of a camera mount.
