Day 1

Early pick up and drive to Ngorongoro Highlands

Early pick up and drive to Ngorongoro Highlands

Early pick up from the hotel in ARusha and drive to Ngorongoro highlands with a lunchbox. You will visit the Empakai crater and have a short nature walk/hike here. The tent will be pitched at the rim of the crater and a cook will prepare diner for you. You will be sleeping in a canvas tent, with a matrass, sleeping bag and pillow.

Day 2

The miracle: Ngorongoro crater

The miracle: Ngorongoro crater

After early breakfast you will drive into the Ngorongoro crater where you can be amazed by the huge amount of wildlife which can be found in the crater. You will be seeing lions, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, giraffes and many others. If you are lucky you will encounter a rhino, a specy which is endangered by extinction. You will lunch with a lunchbox. In the afternoon you will drive to the Serengeti, where you tent will be pitched and the cook will prepare diner.

Day 3

The serengeti

The serengeti

After breakfast you will go on a game drive into the Serengeti. Here you will enjoy the huge amount of wildlife that you will encounter. The Serengeti has the hightest amount of migration of animals to be seen. The wildebeest, zebras and gazelles follow the rains, so that they can graze fresh grass. You will go back to the camp to have hot lunch. After resting you go for another game drive into the Serengeti to see the wildlife.
Diner will be cooked on the campsite.

Day 4

A second day of game drive in the Serengeti. Your guide will find the nicest places to spot all the animals like lions, cheetahs, giraffes etc. You will have lunch on a lunchplace with a lunchbox. After lunch the game drive will go back to the gate and the campsite Migombani in Mto wa Mbu will be used to pitch your tent. Diner will be prepared at the campsite.

Day 5

Tarangire NP: elephants and baobab trees

Tarangire NP: elephants and baobab trees

After breakfast you will drive to Tarangire NP, half an hour drive from Migombani camp. The Tarangire river crosses the landscape of the national park. This river is frequently visit by all kinds of animals who come to drink. You will encouter large families of elephants, giraffes, zebras and lions.
You will lunch on a nice spot with a lunchbox where you have to be carefull with you lunchbox because of the apes. After lunch you will spend several hours a game drive and after this you will head back to Arusha where you will drop where ever you want.
