You'll arrive at the Airport, meet and greet your driver-guide who will pick you up, and drive to Lake Manyara for a game drive. Lake Manyara is now more of a forest park compared to the years back but it offers a unique experience to visitors. Even though it lacks a large number of mammals compared to any park in the Northern circuit it offers unique wilderness experiences like diverse landscapes such as Rift Valley, dense woodlands, and stunning mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park centers around its eponymous alkaline lake, a key habitat for hundreds of bird species. As the afternoon ends, you will make your way toward your accommodation which is located in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Today, you'll drive to the 8th Wonder of the World for a full-day game drive spotting wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater known as Africa’s 'Garden of Eden' is a well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. It is 190km from Arusha town. Here, you will find many reasons why you choose to come to safari. First, there was a volcanic caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a settling jaw of beauty. Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals and inside the crater, you might spot animals such as leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, wallowing, Zebra, waterbuck, baboons, and many others. Soon after ascending from the crater floor, you will drive to your camp which is located inside the conservation area for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be picked up by a Kojuu Safaris driver-guide and chef and drive you to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is an extremely large and wild game park ever. Every traveler desires to see, nearly 15000 sq km, this park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by the nomadic Maasai who are found here. Your mind will be boggling by the quantity and wildlife inside Serengeti. It is the home of the Big Five; lion, leopard, bush elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino. It is also famous for with annual migration and beautiful landscapes. This park is a treat to visit not just for animals but also for its vast and varied species. After the wildlife viewing, you will drive to the lodge which is located inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

The sound of Africa arouses you from sleep and you will freshen up and go to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and drive to the park for a full-day game drive. If you love animals then Serengeti is a good place to be. In here, you will find the real Mufasa, Nala, Simba, and Scars, thanks to the Disney film “The Lion King”. Around 3000 lions are living in the Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot not just because of their numbers but also because they like to loll about for hours each day under the trees. Lions can long around about 20 hours a day. The Serengeti also has bush elephants, cape buffaloes, and birds like the Kori bustard, Fischer’s, and many others. Later in the evening, you will drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5

At 6:30 am, after a quick breakfast, you will head to Northern Serengeti for game drive tracking migration (river crossing). You'll arrive around 11:00 am and head directly to the river for migration till early afternoon, where your guide will either choose to go to the picnic site or find a nice place to set up a table for lunch around the bush. At 1:30 pm, you will start your afternoon game drive spotting wildlife till 3:30 pm lasting approximately 3 hours. After wildlife viewing, depending on where you will be in the park, it will take 30-40 minutes to arrive at your accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Waking up in the Serengeti is something really special. The sights, sounds, and smells of Africa are all around you. Ahead is a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park. After your breakfast, you will embark with your driver-guide on a full-day game drive till the afternoon when you'll go back to the lodge for a hot lunch. After lunch, you'll take some downtime in the heat of the day just as animals do. You can relax poolside, crack a good book, take a safari siesta, or indulge in a spa treatment when available. You'll enjoy a leisurely lunch between 12-2 pm. Later on, you'll depart for a late afternoon game drive and drive back to the lodge at around 6 pm.

Fly Out from Northern Serengeti ( Kogatende Airstrip - Arusha)

You'll have breakfasts, be picked up, and drive to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Arusha departing at 10:15 am and arriving at 12:20 pm. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be picked up and driven to Gran Melia for lunch. Soon after lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight back home.

PS: Flight from Kogatende to Arusha is not included in the cost.
