8-Day Wildlife Extravaganza Masai Mara Luxury Safari

Pick-up in Nairobi & drive to Mara North Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by your driver for a departure to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Mara North Conservancy. You will arrive at Mara in the afternoon and check in at the beautiful Karen Blixen Camp. Depending on your arrival time, have lunch and a short rest before you proceed to enjoy your afternoon game drive.

The reserve is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. You will search for the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Your safari tent will be right by the great Mara River, where you will see all kinds of wildlife from camp, including hippos, elephants, zebras, antelopes, and, if you are lucky, a big cat or two.

You can sleep and enjoy breakfast at the camp, or have a packed breakfast to take with you on safari to eat out in the bush, watching the wildlife around you. Your day will begin with a spectacular game drive, allowing you to spot the magnificent wildlife in the park. The Mara North Conservancy is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Early mornings and late afternoons are the best time to spot animals as they are most active. This is when the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography. To bring more to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events that we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot-air balloon ride above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah.

Wake up early and get ready for another dreamlike, mind-blowing safari day! We suggest you take breakfast and lunch with you on safari as you can enjoy it in the bush with amazing surroundings and wildlife! For full-day safaris or whatever your choice is, we do what you want to do, so you just let your personal private guide know.

You will return to the camp to relax, enjoy delicious meals, and, if weather permits, try out the rim-flow swimming pool, literally on the edge of the Mara, which boasts one of the world’s most extraordinary views.
