Drive to Tarangire National Park for Game Drive

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from the Hotel by a Kojuu Safari guide, and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is one of Africa's little-known gems. We recommend this itinerary to all lovers of wilderness and solitude. Its name originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park and is the sole water source during the dry season. Tarangire's landscape is incredibly diverse, with a mix not found anywhere else on the northern safari circuit. It comprises ancient baobab trees, which the Maasai believe are the first tree in creation, and giant termite mounds. The dry season sees the harsh sun suck the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, while the wet season brings dense bush and luscious high grasses. Later in the evening, you will drive to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Main Destination:

Even though it has the least number of mammals in all Northern circuit parks, Lake Manyara makes up for it in its unique wilderness which entails scenic landscapes such as Rift Valley, dense woodlands, and stunning mountainsides. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for Game Drive

Ngorongoro Crater was one of the World Heritage sites in 1979 and is one of the only places on earth where humankind and wild animals mingle in harmony. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for Africa's best wildlife viewing, with an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Upon arrival at the Crater's rim, you will descend 610 meters into the Crater, where your safari excursion truly begins. You can easily spot the endangered black rhinos, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, elands, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles, and giant tusked elephants. The Crater also has the largest known population of lions, and you will spot leopards, cheetahs, and scavengers — hyenas, jackals, and rare wild dogs. Over five hundred species of birds have been recorded within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including white pelicans and flamingos. Drive to Ndutu Area for Game Drive

Drive to Ndutu Area for Game Drive

After breakfast, you will drive to the Ndutu area for a game drive. Ndutu area is divided into two sides: the Ngorongoro side and the South side of Serengeti. While the route for great migration has remained the same for the last 5 years, the exact time of the journey depends on seasonal rainfall, so it remains unpredictable. Ndutu area is where the calving season takes place which is from January to March, where the herds are usually towards Ngorongoro searching for green pasture but not inside the crater. This plain is a perfect place for wildebeest to give birth due to its abundance of nourishment which is good for the newborn baby. In this journey, wildebeest are not alone but accompanied by zebra and gazelle. As the afternoon begins to end, you will make your way toward your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ndutu Area Spotting Migration

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and drive to the park for another full game drive tracking the migration. What is so special about this area is the sweet grasses which are not just tasty but perfect for the young wildebeest. The area has grass which is nutritious because of the volcanic eruption that happened years ago. The ash spewed out by these erupting volcanoes was blown over the plains of the Ndutu area and settled here which helped fertilize and nourish the soil, making the grass that grow here simply enticing to mother wildebeest and their babies. The guide will explain this and much more while taking one step at a time exploring this park. Later in the evening, you will make your way toward your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Game Drive Central Serengeti National Park

The sound of Africa arouses you from sleep. You will freshen up and go to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and drive to the park for a full-day game drive. If you love animals then Serengeti is a good place to be. Here you will find the real Mufasa, Nala, Simba, and Scars, thanks to the Disney film “The Lion King”. Around 3000 lions are living in the Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot not just because of their numbers but also because they like to loll about for hours each day under the trees. Lions can long around about 20 hours a day. The Serengeti also has bush elephants, cape buffaloes, and birds like the Kori bustard, Fischer’s, and many others.
