Day 1

The Safari Tours Africa representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive you to the hotel in the heart of Arusha. The rest of the day is jampacked with safari briefings, accommodation arrangements, and details on the pickup the following day so you can prepare for the next day's adventures in Tanzania.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park. The first stop is in Arusha for any last-minute purchases. From here, we head off to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.

Tarangire National Park is known for its enormous elephant population and baobab trees. The park is part of the annual migration of animals of as many as 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeests, and 30,000 zebras.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will leave for Serengeti National Park, making our way through the stunning farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Then, leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of untamed Africa, the Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti National Park, with its infinite plains, stretches as far as the eye can see. Next, we proceed to Seronera, one of the richest natural habitats within the park. Here, the Seronera River provides a treasured water supply to the park. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day experiencing Serengeti National Park.

You wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise in the Serengeti, ready to start a day of game drives. Then, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and your overnight stay while enjoying the spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater Valley from above.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is more than 600m deep. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts many animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephant.

Another huge drawcard to this picturesque country-wide park is its dense population of predators encompassing lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which require a skilled eye to spot.

Furthermore, we can go to Lake Magadi, a massive shallow alkaline lake at the southwestern corner which is one of the crater’s major attractions. Many flamingos, hippos, and different waterbirds are seen here.
