Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from either the airport or your hotel in Nairobi and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli. Upon your arrival in Amboseli, our friendly driver-guide will greet you and then drive you to your lodge, with a game drive en route to allow for wildlife viewing.

After lunch, you will embark on your first afternoon game drive, exploring the acacia woodlands, freshwater swamps, scrub brush, and open plains in search of wildlife.

Amboseli National Park, covering an area of 392 square kilometers, is famous for its breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world and the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters. The park is also known as an elephant’s paradise, where massive African savannah elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing throughout the day.

Day 2

Leave the camp after breakfast, carrying your packed lunch boxes to be enjoyed in the wild under a lone flat-top acacia tree. Spend the whole day exploring the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli. Fed by subterranean water channels, water is abundant throughout the year and so is the pasture. Elephants and various other herbivores are found here. You will retreat to the lodge late in the evening

You also have an option of starting the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they're at their most active. Then return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.

Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in camp reading your favourite book writing your journal about the safari or just listening to your favourite music while observing the birds—don't stress, the animals will be doing the same. Then head off again in the afternoon at (4:00 pm)for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and another night under the Ambosli stars.

Day 3

Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearby Amboseli Airstrip at 7:30 am for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara via Nairobi Wilson Airport. You will be landing at the Keekorok Airstrip at the heart of the Mara. On arrival, you will be met by our friendly driver guides who will load up your luggage and drive you to your camp located inside the Masai Mara with a game drive en route in search of the animals and the big cats that call this place home. This afternoon after lunch, you will embark on a game drive in this massive savanna grassland in search of the big cats and other herbivores that live here. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Big cats are sure to be a highlight of your time in the Masai Mara, with lions, leopards and cheetahs all commonly seen stalking prey on the Masai Mara's savannah grasslands. Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and hyenas are also often seen here.

Day 4

This is a full day spent game viewing across the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World". The Mara is known for its great herds of plains game animals like leopards, cheetahs and lions. It also has numerous elephants and every other type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. You will have a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Your lunch today is picnic lunch boxes in the savannah under a flat-top acacia tree while watching the animals grazing. You will continue with the game-viewing en route to your camp, arriving late in the afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah measuring 1,500 sq km.

You have an option of booking a balloon ride today which takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew will help you out of the basket and escort you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast. It is a lifetime experience and worth the price.

Wake up to another glorious day in the Masai Mara. Begin your day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they are at their most active. Then, return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.

Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in the camp - read your favorite book, write about your safari experience in your journal, or just listen to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don't stress, the animals will be doing the same. In the afternoon, head off for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy another night under the Masai Mara stars.

Alternatively, you can depart early in the morning carrying your packed lunch boxes for a full-day game drive, returning to the lodge late in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the afternoon, set off for another drive through the park. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy another night beneath the stars of the Masai Mara.

Day 7

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, pack your belongings, and drive back to the Masai Mara airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to the Giraffe Centre, where you can meet these magnificent creatures. An Educator will provide you with food pellets made of corn, wheat, grass, and molasses for feeding the giraffes up close. For an even closer experience, you can head up to the Feeding Platform.

After you visit the Giraffe Centre, you will have lunch at either the Carnivore Restaurant or the Tamarind Restaurant. Following lunch, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Nairobi, marking the end of your safari.
