On this day, a guide from Kale Voyage will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel to take you to Lake Manyara National Park. Situated in the Great Rift Valley, approximately 126 kilometers (78 miles) southwest of Arusha, near the town of Mto wa Mbu, the park is characterized by a scenic mix of habitats. These include the shallow alkaline Lake Manyara, dense woodlands, and open savannah. The lake itself occupies a significant portion of the park, providing a habitat for a variety of bird species and a picturesque backdrop to the wildlife.

You'll also have the opportunity to engage in activities in Mto wa Mbu before heading to your luxurious hotel in Karatu. Whether exploring the vibrant local culture, indulging in local cuisine, or experiencing the unique atmosphere of Mto wa Mbu, your day will be enriched with diverse experiences. The distance from Karatu to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the Ngorongoro Crater is located, is relatively short. Karatu is a town situated near the entrance to the conservation area. The journey from Karatu to the Ngorongoro Crater typically takes around 20-30 minutes by road.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its incredible concentration of wildlife. This includes a variety of animals such as lions, elephants, zebras, and an abundance of bird species. The crater itself is the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera, providing a unique and diverse ecosystem for wildlife viewing.

After enjoying this final day of safari amid the spectacular scenery and wildlife of the Ngorongoro Crater, we will transfer you back to Arusha or the airport.
