Arusha is a gateway to safari destination found in the northeast and is located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. The city of approximately 400,000 people whereby is most dominated by two big communities Maasai and Meru people.

Tarangire National Park gets its name from the Tarangire River, which is the sole source of water for wildlife during the dry season. The park is renowned for its abundant population of elephants, striking baobab trees, and African pythons that climb trees.
