Rolling hills and open savannah dotted with the majestic 'upside-down' baobab trees, believed by the Masai to be the first tree of creation, offer a picturesque background.

After breakfast, we will depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful high farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the highlands behind, we will descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera Area, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, providing a valuable water source to this area and attracting wildlife representing most of the Serengeti's species. We will arrive on time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, you'll descend the crater passing through a dense green canopy of forest. The entire world is laid out below in the largest perfect caldera. The 11-mile (18 km) wide crater has been compared with the Garden of Eden, with its swamps, lakes, rivers, hills, and prolific animal kingdom. The exhilarating drive from the crater rim down 2000 feet into the crater is truly unforgettable. In the afternoon, a vehicle will be waiting to transport you back to your hotel in Arusha.
