Nairobi - Shaba Game Reserve

Depart from Nairobi at 0700 hrs and drive north of Nairobi covering a distance of approximately 310 km. This is a scenic journey through the tea, coffee & sisal plantations. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks. Your drive will proceed past the equator crossing to the semi-arid county of Samburu. Embark on your first game drive en route to our lodge for check-in and lunch. Another game drive is scheduled in the afternoon before dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.

Full Day In Shaba Game Reserve

This will be a full day of unlimited wildlife viewing. Possible sightings include unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and other wild animals peculiar to this semi-arid region. Your game drives will be along the Ewaso Nyiro river where most of the wild animals are found. All meals and overnight at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.

Shaba Game Reserve - Nairobi

Morning game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Nairobi arriving at about 1500hrs(pm). On arrival you will be dropped at your Nairobi hotel for a deserved rest.
