After an early breakfast, we set out for a full day game drive. The Masai Mara is known for its lions, elephants, leopards and cheetahs. More than 500 species of birds have been recorded here. You will have a packed lunch to maximize your time for wildlife watching as you explore different parts of the reserve. Your guide will help you to track and spot animals while sharing interesting information about the flora and fauna of this region. Depending on the season, you may have an extraordinary opportunity to witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra between July and September.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Naivasha

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to Lake Naivasha, where you arrive in time for lunch. Activities await later in the afternoon. The lake is a bird sanctuary with more than 400 recorded bird species, and being the only freshwater lake along the Rift Valley, it is home to thousands of hippopotamuses. Return to your chosen hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Amboseli National Park, passing through small towns and villages. Arrive in Amboseli in good time for lunch. Amboseli is well known for its large herds of elephants against the backdrop view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Later, embark on your afternoon game drives until the sun sets when you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start with early morning game viewing drives. You return to your camp mid-morning for breakfast, relaxation, and lunch after that. After lunch, you embark on an afternoon game drive until evening, when you return to your tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay. If lucky, you spot big cats, buffaloes, and elephants, among many other wild game and bird species. You may opt for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch.
