Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park for a Game Drive

You will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to Zanzibar International Airport to catch the 7:00am flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha between 9:00am and 9:30am, our driver will meet you. The driver will then take you on a two-hour game drive in Tarangire National Park.

After reaching Tarangire National Park, you will check in and begin your game drive at 1:00pm. There will be a break for lunch before continuing with the game drive for the remainder of the day.

In the evening, around 6:15pm, we will drive you to the camp for an overnight stay at Tarangire Simba Lodge. The camp is located just outside the park, allowing for an early start to our game drive on the second day.

Game Drive in Tarangire National Park and Return Flight to Zanzibar

The day will begin with breakfast at the camp at 6:00am followed by a breathtaking sunrise game drive. The game drive will last until 12:00pm, after which we will return to Arusha to catch a flight back to Zanzibar. Arriving in Zanzibar will mark the end of your wonderful visit to Tanzania.

Tarangire National Park is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, with several herds consisting of up to 300 members. In addition, the park is populated by large numbers of impalas, elands, buffaloes, giraffes, bohor reedbuck, Coke's hartebeest, Thompson's gazelle, and greater and lesser kudu. The rare gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx may also be spotted on occasion.
