Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, the Full Package Adventures safari guide will meet you. You will then be transferred to Arusha Planet Lodge, where you can relax for the rest of the afternoon, enjoy your overnight stay, and prepare for the next day's adventure. If you have time, you can also explore the city with our guide at no additional charge.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from Arusha Planet Lodge and transfer you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with lunch boxes provided. Once the game drives are complete, we will take you to Marera Valley Lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, all while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. The Tarangire River is the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. You may even see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above!

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park to enjoy a game drive and have lunch at a suitable location within the park. In the afternoon, we will continue the game drive activity before reaching the camp. Serengeti National Park is well-known for its large herds of migrating zebra, antelope, and wildebeest, which gather for calving season depending on the rainy season. Additionally, be prepared to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions carrying out their roles in the circle of life.

The picturesque national park supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, eland, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. It also boasts a dense population of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, and cheetahs.

Start your day with breakfast at your accommodation, followed by a game drive in the Serengeti National Park to search for big cats and the Big Five. In the afternoon, your driver will set and prepare the table for a packed hot lunch, including soup, bread rolls, a main dish, and fruit salad. A glass of wine, tea, or coffee will follow this. Later in the afternoon, return to your accommodation for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay inside the park with a beautiful sunset view.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will depart for Ngorongoro Crater. When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. You will have an opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino and large families of lions. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological wonders and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself! When you reach the crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. After a packed lunch, we will drive to the Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping. Then, you will transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (formerly known as Zanzibar International Airport), our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting to provide you with a private transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

Finally, we will transfer you to your beach hotel. Admire the narrow streets lined with many residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes, featuring exquisitely carved doorways, metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Due to the colonial presence and the many mosques commissioned by the olden Sultans of Zanzibar, you will see continental churches.

At the time of your choice, you will transfer to Nungwi. This large village at Zanzibar Island's northernmost tip was once best known as a dhow-building center. Today, it is a major tourist destination, partly thanks to the beautiful beach and stunning sunsets. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, and other water sports are the main attractions here. From Nungwi, frequented dive sites are mainly down the east coast or to Mnemba Island and reefs near Tumbatu Island. For swimmers, Nungwi's local geography and tidal pattern mean that swimming is possible anytime. Other activities available include yoga, cycling, and guided tours of the village. You will spend four nights at this incredible place.

During the tour, you can visit historical sites such as the Central Market of Zanzibar to see fresh fish from different parts of the island, the Former Slave Market, The House of Wonders, The Old Fort, The Palace Museum, and take interesting walks along the narrow lanes of the Stone Town where you can shop around.
