Day 2

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, the journey continues towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The route passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning panoramic views of the crater before descending toward the Serengeti's vast plains. Along the way you may encounter Maasai herders guiding their cattle across the savanna, a striking contrast between traditional life and the wild African landscape. As you enter Serengeti you will have a game drive, where you will have your first opportunity to witness Serengeti's rich biodiversity. The Seronera Valley, located in the central Serengeti, is particularly famous for its resident lion prides, leopards lounging in acacia trees, and large herds of elephants and buffalo. As the sun sets over the golden plains, guests arrive at their chosen camp or lodge, where you will enjoy a warm meal under the star-lit sky, listening to the distant calls of hyenas and lions in the wild.

Day 3

This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti, a park that never fails to impress with its sheer abundance of wildlife. With an early morning start, travelers set off on a game drive when the animals are most active. The Serengeti is home to the Big Five- Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino-as well as Cheetahs, Giraffes, Hippos, and an incredible variety of birdlife.
For those seeking a unique experience, an optional ht air balloon safari can be arranged at dawn. The rest of the day includes game drives across different parts of the park, depending on the season and wildlife movement. If visiting between July-October, you may have a chance t witness the great migration in the Northern Serengeti, where thousands of wildebeest cross the crocodile-infested Mara River. During other times of the year, the central Serengeti remains an excellent location for predator sightings. The day ends with another night in the Serengeti, surrounded by the sound of the African bush.

Whether heading towards the Central Serengeti, the Western Corridor, or the Northern Serengeti, each area has its unique wildlife and scenery. A visit to a hippo pool reveals massive groups of these giant creatures, while vultures and hyenas scavenge nearby, keeping the circle of life in motion. As the sun begins to set, the safari ends with a sundowner, a peaceful moment to enjoy drinks while watching the sky turn shades of orange and pink. The final night in the Serengeti is a special one, spent around a campfire with the distant roars of lions echoing through the night.
