Between 6 and 8 am, we'll swing by your place in the city to kick off your day. We're headed to Mikumi National Park, and the road trip will take 5 to 6 hours. If you're feeling a bit peckish and missed breakfast, no worries - we can make a pitstop for some tasty local breakfast snacks.
Arrival at Mikumi National Park should happen between 12 and 2 pm. You can either dive into a hot lunch right there in the park or, if you're up for it, grab a lunch box to munch on while we continue our journey. Just give us a heads-up on your lunch style! After refueling, it's game drive time. At around 5:30 pm, we'll start making our way back to the lodge.
By 6 pm, you'll be back at your hotel. Treat yourself to a nice, refreshing shower, savor some tasty grub, and kick back for a good night's sleep. Get ready – there's more adventure waiting for you tomorrow!

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Good morning! Today is all about immersing yourself in the beauty of nature and wildlife. After a delightful breakfast at the lodge, your day of adventure begins.
Between 6 and 8 am, we'll head to the park for an early-morning game drive. If early starts aren't your thing, no worries, you can choose when your safari begins and ends.
From 12 to 2 pm, enjoy a satisfying lunch either at the park's restaurant or as a picnic within the park. If you're up for an extended tour, opt for a lunch box to explore the park further. If you prefer a hot lunch, the park restaurant is ready to serve it at no additional cost.
We'll start the journey back to the lodge at around 5:30 pm, where you can unwind and rest after a fulfilling day of exploration.

Maasai Boma Visit & Departure
Kick off your day with a cultural exploration at a local Maasai village in Mikumi. If time permits, we might swing by the bustling local women's market. The Maasai, a renowned traditional community in Tanzania and Kenya, offer a unique cultural experience. Remember that this village visit is optional, and if you're in a hurry to head back to Zanzibar, you can skip it. Just give us a heads-up when you make your booking.
Following the cultural adventure, your journey back to Dar es Salaam begins.
If you intend to catch the ferry to Zanzibar or have an international flight home, please let us know your departure time. This way, we can ensure your timely return.
